“We booked Sussex Caterers for our wedding, and Richard and his team were a dream! We had just over a hundred guests, and they did everything from serving champagne and delicious canapés at the reception to a three-course wedding breakfast. We were able to offer guests three options for starter, main and dessert, all the way through to a hog roast in the evening and late-night bar service. They were a joy to work with, and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent service and food- we would highly recommend them to anyone else thinking of booking them! “Absolutely blown away by Richard & his performance along with his amazing team. My husband and I were looking at various catering companies prior to finding Richard. His professionalism and experience from our very first phone call were just brilliant. We had a bespoke 3-course menu for our wedding breakfast along with canapés and evening big pan paella, and it was all absolutely delicious,I could not fault a thing. His team are so so friendly and professional, and most of all they all have wonderful smiles to create that warm feel.

“An absolute pleasure dealing with Richard & his team. They catered our wedding celebration in August and they were brilliant. Richard created a bespoke menu for us, and it was everything we’d hoped for and more. His team are simply amazing, they worked extremely hard to make sure everything was perfect. It was hard to pick our wedding menu from all the delicious possibilities on offer, but Richard was always available to provide ideas & guidance, drawing on his vast experience & wow did the team deliver!! Our wedding of 120 guests for a buffet style BBQ and then 180 in the evening for a hog roast was extremely well catered for- so much positive feedback from the guests on the quality of the food and no one went hungry that’s for sure! Great canapes and brilliant experience overall. We were very happy with the food ourselves, it was served promptly and we felt Richard managed to exceed our expectations in every aspect, even when we were a bit tight on budget. He is also very responsive to emails which really helps when you’re putting a lot of trust into these businesses when organising a wedding. Staff are a credit to Richard with everyone being extremely helpful, really professional, approachable, smart and great at ensuring everyone has a lovely time. Couldn’t fault it. They catered for my 50th Birthday for 50 people last weekend. I booked the BBQ option and apart from letting Richard and his team in, I had nothing else to do on the day in relation to the option I booked, they provided and took control of everything and have an amazing set up. My guests and I could not fault the service and the quality of the food they cooked & served was exceptional, everyone commented on how good it was. They really made my birthday a success.“

We were bowled over, the excellent presentation, every course was superb 5*. The taste was phenomenal. The staff who served us were so efficient, happy, friendly, polite and really delightful.

We found Richard and the team online when searching for a catering company for our wedding, and from the start of the process right until the end, Sussex Caterers couldn’t of made it any easier, they was stress free, helpful, always communicated, so friendly and welcoming. The taster day was out of this world and was a special touch with it just being myself and my husband – the food was absolutely incredible and we couldn’t wait for all the guests to try it.
